New! Float Wrap - Austin Wedding Photographer by Melanie Grizzel

destination wedding photographer Introducing She-N-He's new Float Wrap.

Its an awesome way to display your photographic works. Your images are printed on canvas and wrapped around masonite to create a thin wrap. Then the whole thing is mounted on 3/4 inch gator board with holes for hanging. Right out of the box the image is ready for hanging on the wall, all you need now is a nail. And it's lighter and more unique than a matted and framed print. When hung, the images appear to be floating near the wall. It's new and distinctive, why not be the first person you know to display one!

This one happens to be a 16x24 inch print. They also come in 20x30 inch.

If you book a wedding with She-N-He for a date landing between June 15, 2011 and Leap Day '12 (February 29, 2012) we'll make one of these amazing Float Wraps in the 20x30inch size for FREE! that is a $425 value.

If you are a recently passed bride, let us know you'd like this for your home, and we'll make one for you for 1/2 price - $212.

I am madly in love with Hacienda del Lago, which you may already know I cannot stop singing their praises, the location is completely out of control. I shot a bridal portrait out there in September 2009 and feel in love with one particular image, the bride in her long flowey dress walking on the path toward the house at exactly the right time of light. It reminded me of Palm Springs circa 1960. So I started researching the era, decor, fashion, and style. I met with Margaret Bedikian of 3 Apples Events and we together poured over more images from the era, and with that, our concept and visuals really came together and started to take shape. We got together with Kari Shelton of Wow Factor Design Co., brilliant. Armed with our concept and colors Margaret found Wicked Cakes who made our awesome inspired cake and Paige's Bake House who made those completely adorable and  absolutely delicious Petit Fours. The models were a no brainer, a couple we worked with for their wedding in February, who have become a part of our family, Brandi and Lee Barnwell. None of this could be possible with out fantastic styling from Shannon Yarbrough without whom we would have no dresses (Linda AsafBlush BridalBella Saison) headpieces and accessories (Tracy TenpennyMillistar) or men's where. Rentals from Premier Party Central who supplied us with all of the white for our backdrop. Austin Catering created those bite sized pieces of pure art on a plate and lastly Brizy Tait of Keep Austin Gorgeous knocked it off the charts with her beautiful hair and make-up.

Don't Settle - Austin Wedding Photographer by Melanie Grizzel

When it comes to your wedding photography, don't settle for the cheaper photographer.
Wedding photography prices may seem arbitrary but they're not. You really do get what you pay for.

Ask yourself, "Why is it so cheap? What will I be missing out on?"
Chances are the cheaper photographer isn't going to live up to your level of expectations.
If you go with the cheaper photographer you'll likely be missing out on something you value, performance, talent, professionalism, customer service, timeliness, experience or genuine concern for YOUR wedding.

Find a photographer that you love. The relationship you have with your photographer will show in your photos. Cut corners on something that doesn't last as long as your wedding photos.

Speak with a friend about her wedding, what does she value most about her wedding now? Chances are, it's her photographs because they capture the memory and make it last long beyond your wedding day.
